Fitplan’s Athlete Dashboard was created to provide the company’s partners with a way to track their progress and earnings, however, it didn’t provide the value sought by athletes. One of athletes’ biggest struggle was that the dashboard didn’t display the information they needed the most. Also, as people who are always on the go, they needed a way to check their stats on their phones, something that was not possible with the former dashboard.

Through a series of internal discussions with the team and interviews with the end users, I created a user flow and interface that could be used anywhere, anytime. With a mobile-first approach, the Athlete Dashboard quickly displays the most important info to users, and provides more in-depth graphs that help athletes understand how they’re performing.
